Can't Sleep Tonight.....
I am very excited about the flight home in the morning. I haven't been to South Carolina in almost 4 years, not because I didn't want to, but because it never worked out. Now I am so nervous I can't sleep, don't know why, but I am sure i will have plenty of time to sleep on the plane. It is going to take Arlo and I almost 10 hours to get to Atlanta URGH!! When I flew home in 2004, it only took about 4. I guess that is what you get when you get tickets this late, and want them cheap. Oh well, yesturday, Arlo and I brought "Age of Empires" so that we would have something to do on the plane, and during our 4 hour lay-over in minneapolis.
Well, anyways, while I am up I guess I will catch you up! I haven't been doing much dancing over the break. I have been running a ton and stretching everyday. I figure that since flexibility is the thing i most struggle with, I will spend some "quality" time with my muscles and tendons LOL.
Well I am going to try to sleep, if not, at least do something a little more productive!!
Ok so i know that it is completely cheesy as hell, but I thought it might be nice to end these entries with a little quote, something I find inspiring
"To dance is to be out of yourself. Larger, more beautiful, more powerful. This is power, it is glory on earth and it is yours for the taking." ~Agnes De Mille

So why Austin's "kinesphere." Well for those of you who don't kow, Kinesphere is a word used to describe the space around you, specifically the space you dance or move in. It is the space that we live our lives in day in and day out, from cradle to grave. It is also an extremely personal space. Many people will understand the feeling of someone being "too close," this feeling is because our body is innately aware of its very own, personal KINESPHERE.
